Can Tarot Help You Understand Something That Has Already Happened?

Not every tarot reading is about something that hasn't happened yet.

Sometimes, the event itself is already over, but you still have questions about it. Why did a promising opportunity fall through? What was behind a sudden change in someone's behavior? How did a situation reach an outcome you never expected?

Knowing what happened doesn't always mean understanding why it happened.

Imagine you were shortlisted for a position you genuinely wanted. The interviews went well, the hiring manager seemed enthusiastic, and you had every reason to think you were a strong candidate. Then you received a rejection.

The outcome is clear. You didn't get the job. But the reason may not be.

Perhaps another candidate had experience that better matched the role. Perhaps the company changed its hiring plans. Or perhaps something about the interview influenced the decision in a way you didn't notice at the time.

A tarot reading can explore possible explanations for a situation like this, including aspects you may not have considered. It can also examine the circumstances surrounding an event and how different factors may have contributed to its outcome.

There is a limit to what can be established, of course. A reading cannot independently verify what a hiring manager privately thought or establish an unknown fact as certain. Its interpretation may offer a perspective on what happened, but it is not the same as obtaining a direct explanation from the people involved.

This kind of reading can also be relevant when an event had a clear outcome but left you uncertain about its wider meaning. Perhaps a friendship gradually faded without a disagreement, or a long-term plan ended for reasons that were never fully explained. You may know how things ended without knowing what led them there.

The past cannot be changed, but unanswered questions about it can still be explored through a tarot reading.
